Until the 2010, a selection of the most beautiful works of the Accademia Carrara will be displayed in the Capriate room in Palazzo della Ragione, in the Upper Bergamo. The heart of the Carrara Art Gallery meets the heart of Città Alta through six exhibition sections dating from 1400 to 1800.

Six exhibition sections:
1. The gems of the collecting from '400 to '700. The artists like Foppa, Tiziano, Lotto, Moroni, Tiepolo, Guardi testify the cultural european horizon of the artistic collecting of the city.
2. The Italian Renaissence. The Italian Renaissence, the artistic movement that made our Country famous all over the world, shows all the variety of the artistic languages.
3. Divinity in art. The images chosen - from Botticelli to Bergognone, from Cima to Conegliano and Moretto, from Bassano to Sassoferrato - belong to the divinty sphere and concern universal feelings as the compassion, the spirituality, the devoutness.
4. The Masters of Bergamo: Lorenzo Lotto, Giovan Battista Moroni, Evaristo Baschenis, Fra' Galgario.
5. The Serenissima. Bergamo, landline of the Serenissima for almost 4 centuries, shows lots of venetian cultural aspects. The art represents a shyntesis of that period through artists like Cariani, Ceresa, Bettera, Longhi e Guardi.
6. The Nineteenth century in Bergamo and the school of art. The works of the artists of the nineteenth century (Trécourt, Piccio, Coghetti..) and their Masters (Diotti, Scuri, Tallone, Loverini) that emphasize the great connection between the school of art and the museum.
